Awful experience

This app crashes every time i try to log in.
after the Microsoft Help Desk technician failed to fix it, he claimed the problem is with OS X and not the app itself (something to do with a corruption in the drive), in essence, it is impossible for the app to work until Apple issues an update that fixes the problem.
he then said he can only try to fix it if i have an Office 365 subscribtion, which i won’t get until i see the app is working properly.
